HYPERMETROPIA
Hypermetropia or far sightedness, is when the distance vision is clear but near vision is blurry. This happens because, light rays become focused behind the retina instead of precisely on it. As a result of this, one can feel the need to squint to see clearly, experience eye pain, general eye discomfort or headache.
This condition usually presents at birth and tends to improve as the child grows up.

Surgery
Hypermetropia can be corrected by using convex lenses, to bring back the light rays to their correct place on the retina making the vision clear. Contact lenses or glasses can be used to achieve this. Furthermore, laser eye surgery with its different modalities is another option.
